-What's New @ your library?-

Library Calendar        RBHS Media Center on Facebook                    School Library Month      Castle Cafe      LAC

Castle Cafe Opens @ your library
The first day of Fall is just days away, and the Castle Cafe will celebrate with Hot Chocolate.  All drinks cost $.50, and the proceeds will go to Gettin' Comfortable @ your library.  The Castle Cafe opens at 7:40 a.m. each morning in the Fiction Room and is open during lunch on most days.

Library Advisory Council
One of our goals @ your library is to provide support for students and teachers at Red Bud High School.  If you'd like to help "build" a high school library that is one of the best, become a Library Advisory Council member.

Officers include Gina, chairperson; Kim, secretary; Morgan, photographer.  Our newest members are Sierra and Hunter.  Charter members include the officers and Amein, Audrey, Jeremiah, and Lindsey.

Council members help to choose books, read and review them when they arrive, plan library programming, develop the podcast and blog sites, and more.

Council members also work beyond the library by sponsoring our school's spring blood drive.  Plans are currently underway for reading to children in the elementary school and seniors in the assisted living center and nursing home.

Regular meetings are Wednesdays at noon in the library.  New members are welcome.  Snacks are available. Bring your lunch.

Watch the announcements, this website, the bulletin board, and our Facebook page, RBHS Media Center, for more information.
